For me, it’s Egypt, simply because I find the history so fascinating. What about you?

There is one thing that every single person does inevitably, and that is, taking things for granted. To be specific, people tend to take for granted the fact that they are loved, thinking that that love is unconditional, especially if it is by their significant other.

When you know that you will be loved even through your stupid mistakes…
When you are sure that you will be loved through all of your childish acts…
When you know that you have someone who will always stand beside you and forgive you…
Let me tell you, you know nothing.

Don’t ever think that you can do anything you desire and still receive the same amount of love and support. When you hear the words “I Love You”, don’t ruin it, just value it as much as you can. Because in this world, there are many people who will never get a chance to be loved by anyone.

So, the next time you see the one who loves you, just simply say to them: Thank you for loving me.

How many of you actually click into the ‘Blog’ link in our homepage to come read what we, or let’s say I, write? If there wasn’t a short news update to come see the blog, would you come check it anyway? Or you don’t even know where the blog link is?

If you are a follower of this blog, you would know that I’m a Paulo Coelho fan. Here is another one of his short writings, that is definitely one of my favorites.

I’m in Sydney harbour, looking at the beautiful bridge that joins the two halves of the city, when an Australian comes up to me and asks me to read an advertisement in the newspaper.
‘The print is too small’, he says. ‘I can’t make out what it says’.
I try, but I haven’t got my reading glasses with me. I apologize to the man.
‘Oh, that’s all right’, he says. ‘Do you know something? I think that God suffers from poor eyesight too, not because He’s old, but because that’s how He wants it to be. That way, when someone does something wrong, He can always say He couldn’t quite see, and so ends up forgiving the person because He doesn’t want to commit an injustice.’
‘And what if someone does something good?’ I ask.
‘Ah, well’, laughs the Australian, moving off, ‘God, of course, never leaves His glasses at home!’

Come on girls admit it, no matter how old you are old classic Disney movies always comes first. Cinderella, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid…etc.

We cannot change our personalities, but we can improve ourselves so that life may just be easier. Here are 10 self-explanatory suggestions. There will be some that are easy and some that are harder to do. Nonetheless, take them into consideration if you want to improve your lives.

1. Stop jumping to conclusions.
2. Don’t dramatize.
3. Don’t invent rules.
4. Avoid stereotyping or labeling people or situations.
5. Quit being a perfectionist.
6. Don’t over-generalize.
7. Don’t take things so personally.
8. Don’t assume your emotions are trustworthy.
9. Don’t let life get you down. Keep practicing being optimistic.
10. Don’t hang on to the past - let go and move on. Yes, this may be the hardest to do. But those who are able to do it will be better off.

And most importantly, make sure you are with someone who makes you happy; not just happiness that can be seen with a smile, but a happiness that can make you feel like your life is perfect just the way it is.
