Icons Collage Error
Icons Collage has not been working properly for most people lately. We know that after you click ‘Generate’, you sometimes get a black box with no icons. We are not fully aware what causes this, so we need your help in order to fix this problem.
If Icons Collage does not work for you, please tell us what you did exactly.
- Did you use 3×3 or…?
- How many animated icons did you use? Please be specific (if you give us the direct link of the icon that would be AWESOME)
- Did you upload any of your own icons? If yes, how many of them were animated? Were the images below 1mb?
- Which browser did you use? (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.)
- Which Operating System do you have? (e.g. Windows XP)
If you all could simply answer these 5 questions, we can get the problem fixed as soon as possible!

I used it successfully for 3×3 and 4×1 but 4×2 it kept telling me the final image was to big for the server. All of the icons were my own and 4 of them were animated. if it is something that i did wrong i apologize. I just didn’t understand why it gives the option for that many icons but won’t generate the collage. thanx.

I use a 3×4 and used about 3 animated icons i got them from photobucket.com. And I downloaded about 4 that I got from photobucket. I used internet explorer and I have windows xp. Im also getting this black box like 2x.

UHM I USED 3×3 AND I WAS USING UPLOADED PICTURES NO ANIMATED AND I WAS JUST GETTING A BLACK SCREEN. I WAS USING INTERNET EXPLORER

i used wackospace icon generator and the thing let me make it but when i went to generate it the thing turned black and i couldnt see my icons..

I used a 5×5 collage, no icons were animated. I uploaded all of my own images, which were just pictures. I use internet explorer and windows xp. I tried to paste the collage as my background, and it just leaves a black background.

i uploaded for a 3×3 collage. all the icons were from my computer and i have internet explorer.

I am unable to generate an icon collage. The msg says it is generating, but the collage never appears

I was using 3×1 with uploaded pictures two animated. I did all my others the same way but this time it did not work. I was using internet explorer images from photobucket.

well i didnt get a black screen everything was workin and whe i copied the code on to my myspace profile then it would be all white coverin everything

some of the icons never showed up and i tried to upload it but its not the right type of file and all this other crap so yeah ya need to fux this stuff

I was trying to build one that is 4×3 with a 2 in background in hot pink. I tried to upload my pictures from my computer. The link will appear however it does not open anything from my computer. i have internet explorer and windows xp.

Same thing here, though I could load any size, 3 x 3 or 5×5 and would always still get a black box. Frustrating!

I did it 5 times …. the first 3 times was no problem! I loved it!
Im so sad and worry about it….
But the last 2times and now it was only black widdow
i use internet explorer … i use my own photos for that and i´ve windows xp.
i hope u can repear this fuckin great tool

Hey guys we think that the problem has been solved. Moreover, we think that the problem is IE6 and IE7.
PLEASE USE FIREFOX! IT’S MUCH BETTER THAN INTERNET EXPLORER. PLEASE!

I used the 3×3 and uploaded my own images…when i was done and clicked generate it said there was an error and the screen went black.

I tried this three different times.
First time: I used a 5×5 on Internet Explorer using Vista. I was able to put the icons in, I had no animations…but when generating it said that it was too large for the server to store.
Second Time: I used 4×5 on the same setup. It said the same thing.
Third time: I did a 4×4 on the same set up, I had 4 animated icons. When generating it said there were too many animations, so I removed one of them. It generated fine. I went to paste it in MySpace, but it never showed up after saving it there…it was like I didn’t do it at all.
I used wackospace icons only.
I hope this gets back to working!

also, i tried the new version first, then it said if it wasn’t working to try the old one, so i tried that also and neither one worked for me..
oh && i just read ur comment thing about trying firefox..
i mite try it wen i get a chance to use the other computer which has it on there

I have tried to generate an icon collage several times. I can upload fine but when I click on generate, it just stays on that page trying to generate and does nothing.Tried both versions. It also shows an error on page when you pull up the icon collage page. IE and windows XP
