Question..

Can one person really make a difference in your life or in the world? If yes, who, for you, is that person?

Facts that never crossed your minds…

Did you know that…

The average American eats at McDonalds more than 1,800 times in their life.

Rats can tell the difference between two human languages.

There are more bacteria in your mouth than there are people in the world. (Still feel like kissing?)

A frog can’t empty its stomach by vomitting. To empty its stomach contents, a frog throws up it’s stomach first, so the stomach is dangling out of it’s mouth. Then the frog uses its forearms to dig out all of the stomach’s contents and then swallows the stomach back down again. (EW)

A Time to Think

Posted in Ramblings by Rubina on the May 27th, 2007

Let’s face it, the world is far from perfect. It is full of disappointment, poverty, racism, and the list goes on. But if I ask you now:
If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt and politics, what would you do?

Think about it. One thing. Anything you want.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Wits End?

Posted in Ramblings by Rubina on the May 26th, 2007

Girls, lets face it, no matter how weird and dirty Johnny Depp looks in Pirates of the Caribbean, somehow he’s still able to pull off the extreme hotness.

The first Pirates of the Caribbean (The Curse of the Black Pearl), left fans wanting more. Three years later, Dead Man’s Chest came along, and it was actually not bad. Now that the third sequel is in theaters (At World’s End), does it still leave the fans wanting more? Or is it really at world’s end?

Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, and Elizabeth Swann are back again. How many of you have already gone to see them?

Borat in a Book!

Posted in Ramblings by Rubina on the May 24th, 2007

In the film Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazahkstan, he was ridiculously hilarious and widely popular. Can Borat’s book do the same? Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat) will soon release two books - Borat: Touristic Guidings To Minor Nation of U.S. and A. and Borat: Touristic Guidings To Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. One will be a guide for the people of Kazakhstan to the United States, and another is a guide to Kazakhstan for Westerners.

We all probably know more or less how Borat speaks, so I don’t think there would be a problem with imagining his voice through the words in the book. I personally can’t wait for the book to come out, and I don’t doubt that it will be any worse than the movie.

What do you think?

Your Fab Five.

If you could have one dinner party with any 5 people in the world, dead or alive, who would they be?

Money or Love?

Posted in Ramblings by Rubina on the May 21st, 2007

Money may buy freedom, but it really cannot buy happiness.
Sure, everyone always wishes to have a huge some of money which would get them anything they want. But would it really bring them love? No, it would only attract people who share the same interest: money.

If you could choose whether to be extremely rich and never find true love, or be with the one you love but having to live in the poorest conditions…what would you choose? I’m thinking that most people may choose the second option, but how many people will actually be able to live with all the luxuries in life? For example, no computer, no TV, no iPods, no going to the salon, no shopping, nothing. We live in a world filled with diversity and choices, and to suddenly take away everything..it would be very hard to survive for some people.

But if you had to, what would you choose?

Jessica & Nick…Jessica & John

Posted in Ramblings by Rubina on the May 19th, 2007

Not all relationships last, obviously. But somehow, celebrity couples hardly EVER seem to last! A couple of years ago, when teen pop idol Jessica Simpson released her first single, it seemed like she had it all: a great voice, pretty face, and a boyfriend who was also famous from the boy-band 98 Degrees. Yes, Nick Lachey. Every teen aspired to have that relationship, a relationship that seemed pure and promising.

Simpson & Lachey

They had a dream wedding, their own reality show…and then, of course, they begin to fall apart. True love turned out to be only ‘teen love’. Ah, Hollywood couples…

Then Jessica found a new man in her life, John Mayer. Which apparently now after nine months, he breaks up with her. What was the reason? There are surely many. One of them is that Simpson caught Mayer flirting with Roberta Armani (Giorgio Armani’s niece). Oops, smooth move Mayer.

Who do you think she was better with?

Icons Collage Error

Posted in Icons Collage by Rubina on the May 19th, 2007

Icons Collage has not been working properly for most people lately. We know that after you click ‘Generate’, you sometimes get a black box with no icons. We are not fully aware what causes this, so we need your help in order to fix this problem.

If Icons Collage does not work for you, please tell us what you did exactly.

- Did you use 3×3 or…?
- How many animated icons did you use? Please be specific (if you give us the direct link of the icon that would be AWESOME)
- Did you upload any of your own icons? If yes, how many of them were animated? Were the images below 1mb?
- Which browser did you use? (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.)
- Which Operating System do you have? (e.g. Windows XP)

If you all could simply answer these 5 questions, we can get the problem fixed as soon as possible!
